Rules of the Villiage
Terms of Service
Last updated: June 23, 2026
By using The Villiage you agree to these terms. Be kind, be honest, and build something worth belonging to.
Membership
You may create one account in good faith. You are responsible for the content you post, the listings you publish, and the way you treat other villiagers.
Buying and selling
Members may list and sell digital products, goods, services, and barter offers through VilliageShare. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, delivery, and for following the laws that apply to them.
Platform fee and revenue share
Each sale is split automatically through the Villiage revenue share. The current default split is 70% to the seller, 10% to the seller's upline, ~18% to the Villiage, and $1 to the seller's chosen cause. Effective platform fee is roughly ~18% (X%) plus standard payment-processor fees, which the Villiage may adjust with notice on this page.
Digital products
Digital products are non-refundable unless the seller agrees to a refund. See the Refund Policy for how disputes are handled case by case.
Branch referrals
When you invite someone into the Villiage, they become part of your branch. Your branch share is paid on qualifying transactions of your direct referrals while both accounts are in good standing. Branch shares are not guaranteed income, are not employment, and may be suspended for accounts that violate these terms.
Prohibited use
No illegal goods or services, no hateful or harassing content, no impersonation, no attempts to break, abuse, or scrape the platform.
Termination
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time from your settings or by emailing us.
Disclaimers
The Villiage is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent allowed by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Idaho.
